Chester Greenpeace – meetings on first Mondays
We’re a local group of volunteer activists based in Chester. Members of the group and anyone interested in joining are encouraged to come to this meeting. They’ll cover the ins and outs of activities that local Greenpeace members can choose to take part in, the code of conduct we’ll adhere to, examples of recent campaigns as well as an overview of what campaign we will be focussing on next. 7 - 8:30 pm, the Town Crier (opposite Chester Station). EcoHome Lab: Monthly meetup and skill share, 5.30 - 8pm, MadLab, 36-40 Edge Street, Manchester. Now a regular monthly slot - second Thursdays at MadLab. A hangout for people taking control of their home energy usage and generation. We use open-source hardware and software to gain a better understanding of energy in our homes, how to make the best use of the energy we generate and reduce energy wasted. Each month we'll expand on our understanding and continue to integrate the open source energy monitoring and whole house energy assessment tools in to different areas of Carbon Co-op's development.
