Our Priorities - A Community Debate, interactive online debate with CWaC executive members, 6-9pm, relating to plans for 2017/2018 and beyond. They request questions in advance, so that they can help shape the broad themes of the event, but questions can also be submitted live via twitter and facebook to be included 'impromtu' as topics are discussed. Support for anti-frack camp, Borras and Holt. "Camp need your support. Eviction will be happening from Friday NOON onwards. Need a 24 hour vigil as of NOW. Come with cameras and phones. Sit in your cars, stay warm and safe. Bring small bottles of water and snacks (high energy/ chocolate, etc) for the Protectors. Please support in whatever capacity you feel comfortable. Just being there (road side) will help ensure that our protectors are safe". On facebook

Wood Fuel Day at Thorn Wood, 11am - 3pm. More than just about local wood for your woodstove, as a New Pilot Sustainable Firewood Scheme run by Woodland Trust, Country Gardens and Woodlands, and Wilder Things. Northwich Fireplace Centre will be there with woodburning stoves; Juliet Hamilton doing willow sculpture, TCV making charcoal, Nige McQuilton doing chainsaw carving, Condor Industries and Bartington Forge doing metalwork, and there'll be a tree climbing demo, you can try coppicing, and children can make dens.
